Árpád Soóky
Head of Service Operations @ Lufthansa Systems Hungária
Árpád started to work in the airline business more than 25 years ago. As an Engineer of Information Technology, he started his career at Lufthansa Systems Hungária as a developer, advancing to architect, and IT project management positions. Besides IT he very quickly became addicted to airline processes, fascinated by their complexity, efficiency and their direct impact on the way we travel. He became head of the Airline Management Systems business unit at LSYH in 2007, with having direct impact on how airline management software is created. He completed his IATA Airline Management diploma in 2013. For several years he worked as a consultant in various Lufthansa Group level efficiency improvement projects. Since 2022 Árpád fills the Head of Service Operations position at LSYH, responsible for application and cloud operations of mission critical airline systems for customers around the world. Always keeping efficiency in mind, he focuses on continuous improvement and strives for a sustainable aviation.
