Algorithms and technological platforms have made trading accessible to many people over the past decade and have transformed the functioning of financial markets. But what should we think about when discussing algorithms in financial markets, and how do these tools and platforms work? What impact will AI have on financial markets and trading? How can mammoth institutional players remain competitive against new and flexible fintech companies that are already using the latest technologies and taking a technology-focused approach to every development?
We discussed these and many similar questions with Győző Drozdy, the Head of Technology of Doo Group.
Head of Technology @ Doo Group
Over the past decade, I've focused on managing and nurturing IT development teams to create state-of-the-art technological solutions. My journey began as a developer after graduating from the Budapest University of Technology. Following a brief stint in private retail and wholesale ventures, I shifted my focus to software product creation. Noteworthy accomplishments include successfully delivering a smart metering system to the Japanese market, overseeing the development of a passenger transport software in a Finnish IT company targeting the US market, and crafting a specialized parking software for the Chinese market. Recently, we created an EU-compliant cloud-based electronic signature system with video identification capabilities. At Doo Group, my present role involves building a research and development team dedicated to producing fintech software products.
